Dave Hynes (lead vocals, acoustic guitar, lead kazoo, backing vocals, fake trumpet, fake saxaphone) and Jim Toomey (drums, percussion, lead backing vocals, sunglasses coordinator) are The Loose Cannons - a dynamic duo from Brisbane, Australia with a singular focus to keep the good times rolling until all the good times are gone.      

Dave is a multi-instrumentalist and has played in countless bands, running up and down the east coast of Australia for the past 20 years. He is as comfortable belting out a current pop hit or pub rock classic as he is crooning an old Elvis number.

 

Jim has an unrivaled resume, having played with seminal pop/rock band The Tourists along with too many other bands to list. Having toured with some of the biggest music names in the world, Jim keeps the party going all night and can switch from a pop ballad to reggae to rock at the drop of a hat.
